MCSAP Planning Meeting and
ITD-PRISM Workshop

Registration is now open!

The 2026 MCSAP Planning Meeting and ITD-PRISM Workshop will take place April 28-30, 2026 in New Orleans, Louisiana!

Each year, this event focuses on giving MCSAP partners information, tools, and ideas to strengthen their State MCSAP programs. A draft agenda for this year's event is available below.

Meeting Overview

FMCSA is pleased to offer this joint event bringing together Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) lead agencies, as well as Federal and State Innovative Technology Deployment (ITD) and Performance and Registration Information System Management (PRISM) team members. This is the single most comprehensive Federal annual strategy session and workshop for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) safety. This meeting also serves as the MCSAP funding conference for the FY 2027 grant cycle.

The theme for this year’s event is: Focus on Fundamentals

Attend this event to:

  • Understand the MCSAP National Priorities for fiscal year 2027.
  • Align your State's Commercial Vehicle Safety Plan (CVSP) with the Administration's priority on recommitting to core MCSAP activities.
  • Learn best practices to help you set ambitious and achievable PRISM and ITD goals for the year.

This year’s meeting will be in-person only, there will not be a virtual option for attending.
