Hazardous Materials Involvement

Proper Hazmat Recording:
The information requested for SAFETYNET identifies the presence of a placard, the information contained on the placard to identify the hazardous material that was transported, and an indication if the material was released. Format of the fields should follow these data elements as follows:

1. Placarded? Yes/No/Not Applicable
2. Hazmat placard 4-digit number OR Name
3. Hazmat placard 1-digit number
4. Materials released? Yes/No/Not Applicable
