Crash Example: Recording Sequence of Events (using SAFETYNET attributes)
The sample sequence of events for vehicles 1 and 2 are recorded below based upon this crash diagram. Note that Vehicle 2 has more than 4 events in its sequence. In this case, ommission of "Ran Off Road" would still give an accurate picture of the crash as the collision with the fixed object (guardrail) would indicate that the vehicle left the roadway.
