How to Log In via the FMCSA Portal
To protect your data and make access more secure, PRISM now requires multifactor authentication. Users will no longer log in to the PRISM DASH using a Portal user ID and password.

Select the appropriate login method.

DOT EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS:
Select MyAccess.

STATE PARTNERS:
Select Login.gov.

Step Three
After logging in to the FMCSA Portal, select PRISM from the “Available FMCSA Systems” list, then click the Go button. This will take you to the PRISM DASH home page as a logged in user.
About Login.gov
Why do I need a Login.gov account?
Login.gov allows non-Federal users, including motor carriers and State enforcement, to sign in to the PRISM DASH safely and securely. You will use your Login.gov username (email address) and password each time you log in to the PRISM DASH.
Note: Federal employees and contractors do not need a Login.gov account, use the link above to log in via MyAccess using your PIV card.
If I already have a Login.gov account, do I need to create a new one?
No. If you already have a Login.gov account, for example to access a different government system, you can log in using your existing Login.gov account to access the PRISM DASH.
How do I create a Login.gov account?

What should I do if I am having problems creating or logging in to my Login.gov account?
Motor carrier and company users: call 1-800-832-5660 or submit a question through https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration/ask-fmcsa.
State and Local Enforcement Users: call FMCSA by dialing 617-494-3003 (Option 1) or email fmctechsup@dot.gov.
