Profile of a Specific State
The Crash Profiles module
provides Crash Profile reports for each state. The following example shows you how to display
a report for a specific state:
1. Access the Crash
Profiles Online module from the Main Menu.

2. Click on State
Profiles from the Crash Profiles module.

3. Reports for a specific state are chosen
from the State Crash Reports Area. Select a state and year from the pull-down menus. Select a
report from a Focus Area by clicking on the text. For example, "Vehicle Configuration"
in the Vehicle Focus Area.

4. This report allows you to compare the total number of
vehicles involved in crashes for the Nation and the selected
state for fatal and non-fatal crashes by vehicle configuration
types. When the state percent is greater than or equal to 25 of the USA
percent, the crash statistics for the category will be highlighted
in red.
