- The "Border Maps" report allows you to view border crossing data for a specific port of entry. To display data, first select a border state from the pull-down menu and click on submit.

- You can than generate a report for a specific Port of Entry, by clicking on the port of entry on the state specific border crossing map.

- The report presents data by calendar year on incoming truck and bus border crossings as a percent of border traffic for the state, the U.S-Mexico or U.S.-Canada (as applicable), and the nation.
Note: Data on inbound border traffic is collected by the U.S. Customs Service and provided to the U.S. DOT Bureau of Transportation Statistics on a monthly basis. The U.S. Customs Service does not collect comparable data on outbound vehicles. U.S. Customs defines the number of arriving trucks, as all trucks not including privately owned pick-up trucks and the number of buses as all buses whether or not they are carrying passengers.

The report indicates that in 2001:
- 249,237 trucks and 7,238 buses crossed from Mexico into the U.S. at the Nogales, AZ border crossing
- 74.16% of the trucks and 54.24% of the buses that cross from Mexico into AZ enter through the Nogales Port of Entry
- 5.79% of the trucks and 2.51% of the buses that cross from Mexico to the U.S. enter through Nogales
- 2.25% of the trucks and 1.58% of the buses that cross into the U.S. nationwide from Mexico and Canada enter the U.S. through the Nogales Port of Entry.
