3.5 Identify the carriers that are having the most crashes in a selected state

The Crash Profiles module provides a report that lists the 100 carriers with the highest number of crashes during a calendar year in a selected state. To display this report:

1. Access the Crash Profiles Online module from the Main Menu.

2. Click on State Profiles from the Crash Profiles module.

3. Reports for a specific state are chosen from the State Crash Reports Area. Select a state and year from the pull-down menus. Select a report from a Focus Area by clicking on the text. Select the report Crashes in Profile State from the Carrier Focus Area.

4. This report lists the top 100 carriers with the most crashes in the profile state. You can access a specific carrier's safety information by clicking on the carrier's underlined US DOT# which will bring you into the SafeStat overview screen. You can drill-down to the other Safety Evaluation Areas, e.g., Vehicle, Driver, to access more detail information on the carrier.
